The short version

Everything you type into a Build Tally calculator is processed inside your web browser. Dimensions, quantities, prices and any other figures are never uploaded to, stored on, or seen by our servers. We collect only the anonymous usage statistics and advertising data described below.

1. Your calculations

All calculators run locally on your device in JavaScript. No input is transmitted to Build Tally, and nothing is saved between visits unless your browser remembers a form value on its own. When you close the page, the data is gone.

2. Information we collect automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps — for security and performance. We may use a privacy-respecting analytics service to understand which calculators are used most; this data is aggregated and does not identify you.

3. Cookies and advertising

Build Tally is funded by advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or via aboutads.info. Users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland will see a consent prompt before any advertising cookies are set. We do not set cookies for any other purpose.

4. Third-party resources

The site loads its own fonts, stylesheet and scripts from its own domain. It does not embed third-party trackers beyond the advertising and analytics described above.

5. Children

Build Tally is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

6. Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you beyond transient server logs, there is nothing for us to export or delete. If you have questions about this policy, contact us.

We will post any changes to this policy on this page with an updated date.
